Why Make Boneless Garlic Parmesan Chicken Skewers

  • Easy: this easy recipe combines simple ingredients like grated parmesan, garlic powder, and boneless skinless chicken. Plus, it’s ready in less than 30 minutes.
  • Delicious: sometimes, chicken dinners can get boring, especially if you make your chicken the same way every time. This one has the flavors you love in garlic parmesan wings without the chicken bones.

Ingredients Needed

Here’s what you need to know about the ingredients in this recipe to make it successfully:

  • Chicken thighs: I’m using boneless and skinless chicken thighs that I cut into bite-sized pieces.
  • Steak Seasoning – I use the steak seasoning from Redmond Life, but a Montreal or other steak seasoning will also work.
  • black pepper
  • onion powder
  • Grated parmesan: I get this fresh in the refrigerated section of the market.
  • Avocado oil: this helps the spices stick to the chicken. You could also use another neutral-tasting oil like olive oil.

Garlic Parmesan Sauce

  • Butter
  • Grated parmesan
  • Garlic Powder
  • Dried Parsley

Tools

Ingredients for Garlic Parmesan Chicken Skewers in separate bowls: bite-sized pieces of boneless, skinless chicken thighs, steak seasoning, black pepper, onion powder, fresh grated Parmesan, avocado oil, and ingredients for the Garlic Parmesan Sauce including butter, grated Parmesan, garlic powder, and dried parsley

How To Make Garlic Parmesan Chicken Skewers

  1. Season the chicken pieces and preheat your air fryer: Add the chicken pieces, seasonings, avocado oil, and grated parmesan to a large bowl. Use tongs to evenly coat the chicken.
  2. Make the chicken skewers: Lace the chicken pieces onto the skewers. Avoid stuffing them since it makes the chicken harder to cook. I use about 5-6 chicken bites per skewer.
  3. Air fry: Add the skewers to your preheated air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry at 400 for 6 minutes. Flip. Air fry at 400 for 6-8 more minutes to cook the chicken skewers through and char some of the edges.
  4. Mix the garlic parmesan sauce ingredients and top the hot chicken skewers with the sauce
