Make Jerk Chicken Wings in your air fryer with this easy recipe. It uses a jerk chicken dry rub and other simple ingredients. Layer the flavor with a 3-ingredient, sweet & tangy sauce.
Add the chicken, avocado oil, and jerk seasoning to a ziplock bag or large bowl. Mix to fully incorporate the spices on the chicken.
Optional for the most flavor: Marinate the chicken for 4 hours, ideally overnight. If I'm in a rush, I skip this step.
Take the chicken out of the refrigerator 30 minutes before you intend to cook it.
Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees.
Add the chicken wings in a single layer to your air fryer basket.
Air fry the chicken wings for 12-15 minutes per side, depending on how crisp you’d like your wings to be.
Mix the sweet and spicy sauce in a small bowl.
Toss/Coat the wings in the sauce before serving.
Notes
For the most flavor: Marinate the chicken for 4 hours, ideally overnight. Take the chicken out of the refrigerator 30 minutes before you intend to cook it.
Cook longer for crispier skin: depending on your air fryer, you might need to adjust the cook time. I prefer crispier chicken wing skin. So, I cook mine longer. You can check your wings at the 20 minute mark to decide if you'd like to crisp the skin more.
