Equipment

  • Air Fryer

Ingredients

Jerk Chicken Wings

  • 1 lb chicken wings
  • 1 tbsp spicy jerk seasoning
  • 2 tbsp Avocado Oil

Sweet & Spicy Sauce

  • ¼ cup honey
  • 3 tbsp sriracha sauce
  • 1 tbsp lime juice

Instructions

  • Add the chicken, avocado oil, and jerk seasoning to a ziplock bag or large bowl. Mix to fully incorporate the spices on the chicken.
  • Optional for the most flavor: Marinate the chicken for 4 hours, ideally overnight. If I'm in a rush, I skip this step.
  • Take the chicken out of the refrigerator 30 minutes before you intend to cook it.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees.
  • Add the chicken wings in a single layer to your air fryer basket.
  • Air fry the chicken wings for 12-15 minutes per side, depending on how crisp you’d like your wings to be.
  • Mix the sweet and spicy sauce in a small bowl.
  • Toss/Coat the wings in the sauce before serving.

Notes

  • For the most flavor: Marinate the chicken for 4 hours, ideally overnight. Take the chicken out of the refrigerator 30 minutes before you intend to cook it.
  • Cook longer for crispier skin: depending on your air fryer, you might need to adjust the cook time. I prefer crispier chicken wing skin. So, I cook mine longer. You can check your wings at the 20 minute mark to decide if you'd like to crisp the skin more.
